Some of you may have seen the news on the Black Rain site about Lee's motorbike accident. Just to let you all know, Lee broke his right knee and has had surgery to put the knee back together. All is well though as the healing process is moving along nicely and Lee should be walking again within 2 weeks and most importantly, riding his Harley very soon!!! ;-)

DEPECHE MODE - B-side Compilation this Summer, entitled "Bright Lights, Dark Room". First off we'd like to apologize to all our fans for not updating the site in such a long time. As we've said before, we are hard at work on the new album, IAMAI You can hear some of the new songs on the Music page, including “Cut”, “Dolls” and “For No One But Me”.
While working on the new CD we are also preparing for our first ever “pop” video for the new song, “Cut”. Just this past weekend Karen and Lee have toured mid-Wales to confirm the locations for filming. All we can say at the moment is that it will be included on the upcoming CD “IAMAI.”

Today we have started recording our new album. It has a working title of "IAMAI" and the first track "Cut" is finished. Black Rain have a planned release date of Sept2005 so stay tuned for more updates on this new CD.

Congratulations to Anthony (Aslan Faction) and his wife Dana on the birth of their first child, Hana Danyelle Mather. She was born on New Years Day and we wish them all the best.

in a while. We have been very busy preparing for our first gig
as Killing Ophelia this coming weekend. at the Gotham festival.
We are really looking forward to meeting some of our Dutch fans.
After our return from Holland, we will start writing some new
material for new EP to be released, hopefully, early in 2004.

Just completed a photo shoot for the first official shots of Killing
Opheila. The first of these can be found on the Photos page and
there will be more to follow.A couple of weeks ago, we completed
the booklet design for Last Vision. We are really pleased with
the way it turned out, so here it is (the cover at least).

Vision" should be released on Black
Rain by the end of March or early April 2003.
24Oct2002 Welcome to the Killing Opheila
site. Killing Ophelia is a new project created by Lee Lauer from
Aslan Faction and Karen King, guest vocalist on AF's European
club hit, "Bring On The Dying". In June 2002, Karen
joined Aslan Faction on tour with Feindflug throughout Germany.
Many people asked to hear more music featuring Karen and so we
decided to create Killing Opehlia.
Over the past couple of months we have been hard at work writing
material and already five songs have been recorded. Some of these
can already be heard on the Music page, but there are many more
to come. The working title of the debut album is "Last Vision",
which we hope will be released sometime in early 2003.
We have no concrete plans to present the material live, but we
will know more once we get closer to releasing the album.
